Teaching Yoga is all about having a direct experience of your SELF as the Yoga itself. Knowing yourself enables you to confidently teach others. But how many of you have completed a teacher training program only to find that you have just begun to scratch the surface of what it means to teach Yoga?
Doing a Yoga training is like traveling abroad and discovering places you would never find in a guide book. An absolute adventure which ends in the journey of YOU because you ARE the journey itself.
If you have been looking to update your practical skills and go further in your understanding of Yoga philosophy, Meditation and Pranayama you will love this intensive.
This two week intensive will not only further your skills in how teach asana, pranayama, meditation at a 300 hr level. It will lead you systematically through the traditional teachings of Vedanta.
As a teacher you can only teach what you know and the ultimate knowledge is knowing your SELF! That’s where Vedanta comes in. Vedanta is the truth that finally rests and resolves in you as yourself.

Our advanced training is practice oriented so that your teaching is inspired by what you know. The training is 112 hrs and begins with an intensive weekend of 12 hrs followed by two weeks of classes from 6.30 am to 5.30 pm. At the completion of the training you will receive a letter of achievement stating the number of hours and the nature of the subjects studied. These hours will be counted towards a 500 hr YA certificate.
Our daily program includes:
- A morning asana class exploring a variety of sequences
- Daily Philosophy lectures focusing on Vedanta ( self Knowledge)
- Adjusting, advanced Asana technique and advanced sequencing principles
- Interesting talks on Tantra, Sexuality and Ojas, Advanced Anatomy and Ayurveda
- Adjusting practicum
- Kirtan and Yantra creations
- Ishta Mala- a practice for every day life
The training will be held in Byron Bay, Australia at the Temple Byron , a beautiful venue set in tropical gardens just 5 minutes drive from untouched beaches.
