Self-Knowledge Online Learning With John Weddepohl

New course dates TBA soon

“The little-known teachings of Self-knowledge are as old as the hills. For countless generations, since we first began to contemplate ourselves and our existence, Self-knowledge has answered all our questions. After getting lost in religious taboo and orthodoxy, its modern revival brings the timeless teachings back to life.

Having sat with my teacher through the teachings every year for 7 years (2004-2011) and encouraged to go out and teach, I have been sharing this life-altering knowledge ever since.”

Course Structure:

In this dynamic series of lectures, John takes us on a journey of revelation and understanding to the pure Self. Building on knowledge revealed in each previous session, through depersonalisation, false notions of Self are let go, to reveal the timeless understanding of who we are and beauty of life’s original purpose.

Classes are held once a week on Sundays for 7 weeks on Zoom.

As each of us is different, so each course varies according to its participants, who are encouraged to communicate their process with the teacher privately through homework tasks.

Culminating in a final interactive session of dedicated Q&A students can clarify any questions they may still have.

Please note: Experience has shown, those who are present for all the ‘live’ classes and engage via the homework tasks and commit to participating until the end of the course, benefit the most from the lectures. Recordings are intended only as a way to review the class and not as a suitable substitute.

To this end, unless there are extenuating circumstances, any participant who is absent for more than 2 live classes will forfeit the course and have no access to the recordings.

At the end of the course, those who have completed the course will receive the recordings of the talks.

We’ve created a closed pop-up facebook support group for course participants to be able to replay the talks, ask questions and connect one-on-one with John. As soon as you sign up for the course you’ll receive a welcome email with the link to join the group as well as the Zoom links for your time zone.

In our experience, those who benefit the most from online learning are the most disciplined so we encourage you to cement class times and dates in your diary. Homework includes your notes of the classes and thought processes, which should be sent to John in your own time.

To ensure this is an expansive experience and that we grow this community of live online teachings, we all need to show up and honor our commitment to understanding the Self.  Who knows – you might meet some like-minded individuals! (Not to worry, though – if you miss a class, the replays are available.)

‘I feel this incredible freedom that I don’t need any of the shit I thought I needed to be happy – some destination where I will magically find happiness – ha! I look at it now and it seems so stupid. … and the idea that it’s ok to have desires, that I don’t have to become some swami who lives in a cave and eats dal every meal. All the therapy to try and think myself out of my depressed state that is caused by my thinking – trying to cancel thoughts out with more thoughts – imagine how stupid this is! And then the mindfulness training, knowing that I need to detach from my thoughts but not understanding how to do that because I didn’t understand the whole happiness concept because nobody had ever explained who I am in a way that I understood.’

An absolute must for anybody wanting a deeper understanding of the nature of themselves and existence. John shares these powerful teachings in an incredibly grounded, concise and calculated manner as you would expect from someone who has truly grasped and understood the full depth of what they are sharing. I would be surprised if you could find another source of this knowledge presented so clearly and succinctly and from someone who does it with such grace and humility, so unassumingly. Be prepared to have your mind seriously blown in the best possible way!
